We are very pleased with the deck replacement/installation that we had done by MasterDecks. Ryan Quinn and his crew were very professional and did a great job with the old deck's demolition and the installation of the new deck using the latest available materials. Their work quality exceeded our expectations and it was completed in a timely and professional manner. They were always available to answer any questions we had and addressed all concerns/details we brought up during the installation process. We would use MasterDecks again for any future work we may have done and highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a new deck or replacement deck installed.

We needed our old wood front deck replaced. We chose Masterdeck and it was a great experience. Quality build completed on schedule. The deck and railing are really absolutely AWESOME!!! The colors and material are great! **** was our over-all coordinator and great at keeping us informed on our project, including scheduling, invoices and required changes. He was always our first point of contact for questions and very quick to respond. He was a really helpful person to work with.***** was our field manager. He handled pre- and post-construction walk-throughs, including working with us on installation details and where all the materials would be staged. He was very clear on directions for us and for the deck builder. He was fabulous! ***** constructed our deck and stair railing. Because this was a small project, Masterdeck used a trusted partner, who was ***** for our project. We were so lucky! Hes truly a master craftsman. His attention to detail and construction was fabulous! So many finishing touches that really make this deck perfect (example: finished corners so there no deck ends showing). Never any chaos, no rework and he answered all our questions. We really appreciated him and his skills so much. Having ***** do the work gave us confidence that we now have a high quality and beautiful deck that we can enjoy for years. He made this whole experience for us far less stressful. It was such a great experience watching this deck be created. He was truly a gem!!!

There are only two companies in the western Washington area that we felt comfortable building a deck for our house. We wanted a beautiful deck that would not compromise the ability of our house to resist the weather (it's western Washington). I am glad we choose MasterDecks. They really came through with their lineup of integrated products (deck, railing, rain proofing system). This is not a one person company, it is a legitimate organization of coordinated activity. Ryan was our project manager and he ensured all financial and logistical aspects were effortless for us, we just sat back and watched it be built. Mario was our foreman. He was amazing to work with and my kids liked calling him Super Mario. He seamlessly coordinated the details of the deck build, was very accessible and never dismissed my concerns, rather he used his extensive experience building decks to present solutions to any adjustments we asked for. MasterDecks' master carpenter named Kyle and his assistant (Heath) built most of the structure and they were very precise and professional. They too answered any questions I had along the way with a smile. I highly recommend MasterDecks for the high quality craftsmanship, peace of mind and value this added to our home.

Masterdecks was really easy to work with. Jessie Sims did a great job staying in touch and answering my questions as the building progressed. Overall, this was a great company to work with. My deck is amazing! And I'm no longer risking the death of my family walking up to my front porch that was falling apart. The only downside is I'm also no longer risking the death of door-to-door salesmen and solicitors either. But at the end of the day, I think it's worth it.

We hired MasterDecks LLC to design and build a custom deck for our house and pool / swim spa. The team did a fantastic job of project management, keeping on top of things, communication and transparency during the whole project.Everyone we worked with was 120% professional, empathetic and worked until that part of the job was done. We were additionally impressed about how they implemented BuilderTrend and had daily log entries with photos and design changes put in place there. There were several people we worked with really closely who made the experience over the top such: *****, ******, ****, ***** and a lot of others - a sincere "thank you" to everyone. They really listened to how we wanted the deck and kitchen designed and accommodated all the changes we wanted. It's safe to say we found the best company we could have to make our deck a reality.

We had Masterdecks remove our 26 year old deck and replace it. They have been very honest and communicative on our project. We are getting exactly what we asked for. The crew (Justin and Justin) did a great job and checked with us everyday to make sure they we on target. We are very pleased and would use them again.

Ryan and his team (Nikita) built a large back deck for us and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Ryan kept us informed of his progress every day and was quick to ask for our input on design decisions while also guiding us with his expertise. His craftsmanship was impeccable, with many complicated corners and designs within the deck itself that multiple people have commented on. Ryan was always respectful of our property (even cleaned up before leaving each day!), showed up to work on time and worked into the evening right before Christmas. We were also very impressed that Ryan and Nikita took all Covid precautions, took their temperature multiple times a day and wore masks while working. When the project was complete, Ryan walked us through the build and left us with extra supplies and his phone number in case we needed anything in the future. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are confident Ryan is the best in the business.

MasterDecks did a fantastic job building a patio and a freestanding deck on it for us. It required removal of many large concrete slabs, which they broke up with a jackhammer and carried out by hand because we have poor access to our backyard. We are so happy with the result and the process. Ryan, Casey, Mario, and Christian were great to work with and let us know what was happening each step of the way. I highly recommend them. Our deck and patio look great and we will enjoy outdoor living for many years.

The PVC decking product we picked out looks great on our new deck. Ryan and his team were great to work with and they listened to our needs and delivered the deck we envisioned. They removed our old deck and built a larger new deck from the ground up. The design was a challenge as it goes out over our garage however Ryan and his engineering team came up with a solution to met our needs. MASTERDECKS is a capable builder. The process was seamless and it was nice that they took care of all the necessary paperwork/permits with the city. The team kept the work area clean and they respected our home. They were quick to respond to our concerns and we couldn't be happier. We look forward to enjoying our deck for years to come.

Extremely pleased with the quality of the workmanship. They came thru on the fine details that I had included in the design. Work was kept on schedule and generally finished when promised. This company builds what you ask for so make sure you have considered all of the details/design before you start to build. They are not designers. You have to come up with the ideas and plan for features like lighting, heating etc. I was always a bit nervous that something was going to fall through the cracks. At the end of the day though, I have a beautiful deck.

We just finished our wood deck project with Master Decks LLC. We highly recommend this company. First, we found them on google search. They had high rating on google, so we called them. They responded right back the next day, and we scheduled a sales person visit. Cary, our sales person was so helpful and knowledgeable. He assisted us making the right decisions on layout, materials, and price. After we had a zoom meeting with him, we were fortunate to have our deck started. Our deck dimension is 14 by 12. We added 8 feet stairs on the side. Also, we chose to build a bench as a part of railing. Our railing is black and white. Secondly, we absolutely loved the construction team. Ryan, the supervisor came to discuss before the construction. The job was done mainly by Justin Kirby. We had his assistant Justin as well. Their work ethic was excellent as well as their work. Mr. Kirby is skillful and took time to explain and answer all the questions to my husband and myself. They were very pleasant to be around. The construction took them about a week. Throughout the process, their professional manner gave me sense of peace and that was priceless. Finally, we appreciate our dream wood deck everyday with our morning coffee. Thank you, Master Decks.

We had a difficult deck job for Masterdecks. Our original deck was installed improperly which caused a lot of water damage to the underlying support. We got several bids, but liked the design and pricing from Masterdecks. This job involved tearing off the old deck, installing the proper slope for efficient water runoff, putting down new decking material, reconfiguring the railings and putting down a waterproof coating. There were many problems to overcome but Ryan and the Masterdecks crew did a fantastic job.

The team at Masterdecks LLC including Heath Curten, Christian Rosas, Tyson Mayr, Chris, Hunter, Ryan, Jessie Sims and Kyle Bannister did a fantastic job building our new deck. The deck was completed in 2-3 weeks (from permit approval) which was much quicker than we expected. We received daily progress reports including pictures. Masterdecks called or FaceTimed us from the jobsite the couple of times when immediate decisions were required. We would not hesitate to use this company again.

FIVE STAR REVIEW - From the first meeting on our deck project until completion Masterdecks met or exceeded our expectations in all regards. They are a premier company providing an excellent experience and a high-quality build/result. Each associate was highly professional, courteous, and always put our interests and satisfaction first and foremost. Their use of the Buildertrend online project management tool is outstanding. In it all aspects of the project are tracked and updated daily. The schedule, finances, daily updates, messaging to/from everyone, and other things are easily accessed. Communication is continuous so we knew exactly what was happening at all times. Once they started the project, Masterdecks worked on it every day until it was done. In our initial meetings with Dave, he listened to what we had in mind and this resulted in detailed drawings for our approval and modification to make sure everyone knew exactly what was desired and expected. Every question was asked and answered for and by us. Masterdecks handled all the permitting and inspection tasks. Ryan then took the handoff and came out to meet with us and review everything again and initiate the actual construction process. Throughout this time as well as during the entire project Jessie kept us fully up to date via Buildertrend on the timing of all the different aspects of the building process. Tyson and his apprentice, Heath, did the actual construction. Tyson’s attention to detail and craftsmanship was stellar and he maintained a clean, organized, low impact worksite. He built us a beautiful deck that was exactly what we envisioned. When day to day decisions had to be made, he explained the choices clearly and provided not only pros and cons, but also his recommendations based on his knowledge and experience. Tyson was awesome and very enjoyable to work with. We were fortunate to have him as our lead builder. During any project issues invariably come up, including some things that did not exactly meet our expectations. Tyson’s response was always the same to any request, "of course, I can make that happen." And, best of all, he did in all regards. Initially we talked with several builders and got bids, however, it was clear from the outset that Masterdecks was the most professional and instilled the most confidence and belief that the overall process would be smooth and painless for us. It was! Masterdecks is competitively priced when you factor in all the things that they actually do, but they are not the cheapest in an absolute sense. Having said that, you always get what you pay for and any premium they get is well worth it in our estimation. As you might expect, particularly in today's environment, they are very busy and there is a queue. We waited months from the time we signed the contract until our project came up on their schedule and could actually begin. Moral of that story is that you must adjust your plans and expectations accordingly if you want to engage them. We are now enjoying a wonderful deck without any regrets on any aspect of the entire project. We wholeheartedly recommend Masterdecks without any reservations. Thank you all so much!

Masterdecks just finished the re-build of my two decks, and I'm really pleased not just with the results, but the whole process. We were within 15% of their original budget, and this covers some discoveries during the process of building. The teams were as follows: The framing crew was Jake, Zolen, Eli and Daniel: friendly, professional, and fast. High quality work and Jake was kind enough to lend me his expertise to fix a sticking door that led out to one of the decks. The railing crew was David, Josh: again, fast, friendly and professional. The new glass railings looked superb and both of them were careful not to make a mess as these were installed. The undercover crew was Martin, Joshua, Nick: all done in two days, and I was really impressed with their attention to detail and willingness to get it done correctly, even going so far as to adjust one drain line twice, to my satisfaction. Guys, I'm sorry my driveway was so long and was such a pain! The managers Ryan, Mario, Quinn: every one provided up-to-date and timely reminders. The buildertrend software that Masterdecks uses really gives the customer a good insight into what's happening and when. It is a more professional overlay to the project than the usual "system" provided by many contractors in the home market (ie "make it up as you go") Masterdecks did a great job. I have only two areas in which to suggest improvement: 1. They should offer some sort of covering for the top of their decks that lets water through but holds pine needles (very common here!) back. Many of the needles will fall through the decking into the water drains, potentially blocking them. Although you can let down their panels beneath to clean them, realistically, I don't think many owners will until it's "too late" 2. I was surprised that they had difficulty in sourcing the panels quickly. They worked it out for me in the end, but the glass railings - which come from Canada, necessitating customs, etc. - came faster than MasterDecks' proprietary undercover panels. As I say - they DID work it out for me in the end, and I got the whole project done in three months, and within 15% of the original estimate. Thanks to the professionals at Masterdecks for a job well done.

The Master Decks team did a wonderful job on my front deck! Everyone I interacted with was very knowledgeable and professional. It was easy to communicate with them and they were very responsive to all my questions/comments (the daily logs and pictures were great!). They constructed the deck well, doing all the extra things needed to make the deck last, like placing gtape on top of the wood support beams, adding extra screws in critical areas, etc. I would highly recommend this company to others!

I highly recommend this company for all your deck needs - flooring, stairs, railings. Mario, Ryan, Tyson, Heath, and Greg were exceptional to work with - from our initial discussions to the final walk through they answered all of my questions, provided timely updates (my project took about 5 months to complete), top quality work with attention to detail, and professional during all interactions. I did my research before hiring them and they delivered exceptional work. Worth every penny. They rebuilt my front entryway deck/stairs/railing/skirt, a large main floor deck/stairs/railing, bottom basement deck/stairs/railing and all areas had lights installed on the stairs and embedded lighting on the outer edge of my main deck. They focused on the quality and value for my project. Definitely worth the time and expense - I only wish I hadn't waited as long as I did to hire them!

We had Masterdecks come out and redo our deck with composite decking and install an aluminum railing with cable infill. At the beginning the project had some minor hiccups, the person who came to do all the demo of the old deck didn't know it is an upper deck, so he had to leave and get ladders which he needed. When the materials were delivered (on time), they asked us to check if everything is ok with color and size, but unfortunately the fascia boards had the wrong size. But the guys from Masterdecks replaced it very quick so the project could continue with no delay. The work was completed when they said it would be and the work was done to standards they promised. We liked the crew, they worked fast and they cleaned up very well every day, especially the last day they cleaned the deck and removed every single srew or nail from the work area. From start to finish there was an excellent communication with everybody who was involved in our project. We love the work they did! And we're very excited to use our deck as soon as it stops raining. Awesome job guys!!! Anyone who has worked with home improvement projects and contractors before knows how rare good work can be. If you want great work done , give them a call.

MasterDecks came out promptly and quoted the Deck rebuild job. The quote was the lowest of the 3 I received. Some companies never showed to bid the job. As with any job issues cropped up because we changed the railing positioning etc. Master decks took care of everything and cleverly figured out how to reconfigure the railing brackets to make sure they fit and made the railing more secure. They helped me with my LED decking which I did myself with their help. Project came out very cool.

My deck had gotten to the point where I was putting construction cones out so people wouldn't step through holes or step on nails, so it was time for a full replacement. Out of the all the bids I got, Masterdecks was priced right about center. But in terms of professionalism and responsiveness, they were above and beyond all the others. They walked me through the design step by step and took care of everything. When the build began, it went very smooth, and the build quality is absolutely beyond reproach. If an earthquake knocks down my house, I'm sure the deck will still be standing.

The lead on the job was a guy named Boris, and he had a couple other guys on the job with him, Brandon and Colin. They were all excellent and communicative.

Boris would often consult with me as the build was proceding to ensure that things were going 100% perfect. His expertise in the building process was readily apparent, and his need to make sure I was a happy client really stood out.

Brandon was also super friendly. Every morning when I came out to walk my dog he'd say good morning to my dog and would have a little conversation with him. It was pretty adorable to watch my little 12 pound nervous rescue dog begin recognizing him and warming up to a stranger. After chatting with the dog, Brandon would then look up at me and chat with me about the plans for the day. I found myself shooting the breeze with him a little bit everyday.

Colin came on towards the end of the build to help speed up the process. I didn't get a chance to talk with him too much, but he was always polite and respectful, and his work really spoke for itself. He had a big hand in the front entry build and did a phenomenal job.

Overall, I would have to recommend Masterdecks because their process is just amazing. I had this team of people assisting me and could reach out to all of them any time with questions or concerns. When we had to make changes on the fly, they have a really good change order system and work through this really cool app where you can see daily comments, pictures and notes about the work in process.

Long story short, make sure you get a bid from these guys while you're shopping around. You'll feel the difference immediately.

Great company to work with. Peter Woolley did a fabulous job. We love our new deck.
